Last semester, the ICS Middle School held it's first ever lip sync competition. Two of my friends talked me into performing with them...I reluctantly said yes, but ended up having one of the most memorable experiences of my life! We made up a dance and lip sync-ed to Beyonce doing a tribute to Tina Turner's Proud Mary. We even won one of the categories and tied for best overall performance! My mouth was completely dry the whole time, I was so nervous. Then all the kids and other teachers were cheering so loudly that it was pretty exciting! Don't worry, I have no illusions to quit teaching to start a dance career, but it was very fun. I know many of you might think that I would never do this... so here is the proof.
